For my senior project at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, I wanted to create a moment in time between two beings. One in despair and one in health. Using light and environment to enhance the moment, these two horses are a study in form and relationship.
This is my Senior Project for Spring 2016 at MCAD. The base mesh of each horse was created in Maya. Sculpting, fiber mesh and environment were created in ZBrush 4R7. Background wind sound is from Freesound.org, "prairie winter wind - ambient natural recording" by westbywest. Short clip of music from the song, "I Need You", by M83.
Stairway, created in Maya, is a study in architecture and is meant to express the changes in space through light.
Final project for Studio and Set at MCAD, the project subject is Constructed Imagery - Still Life. Everything is modeled in Maya and textures are from textures.com.
This video is a mapping project that had to incorporate 3 elements and show the process of the final project. I chose music by Imagine Dragons : Radioactive, some historic facts of horses used in WWII, and showing in small amounts of text that appears to the beat of the music, the processes that went into completing the final. The audio has been disabled for this upload, but go ahead and start 'Radioactive' at the beginning and the audio will match the video!
This is my Stop Motion Final project. The music of Chad Valley was definitely inspirational to the piece. All other sounds are from Freesound.org.
Foundation: 3D Studies. Bronze.
For the Foundation Studies course I cast a bronze sculpture of an owl skull. Wanting to capture its likeness so that long after its death, its beauty can remain.
These are various drawings done during my time at MCAD.
